Good Samaritan Society – Luverne employee Deb Van Meeteren cares for residents in so many ways.

Deb arrives for her shift at 5:30 a.m. and passes out medication during the morning. In the afternoon, she can often be found in rehab therapy, helping clients and residents get back on their feet. And she does it all with a smile.

She has been recognized as the Society's 2019 GSS Way Employee Champion.

"It's not just a job to Deb. This is her family," says Kristee Hart, staff development director.
