Gifts are at work across the Good Samaritan, helping to fulfill the mission of sharing God's love through the work of health, healing and comfort. If you made a gift in 2019, you made a difference!
"We depend on generous donors to fulfill the Society's mission in each of our communities," said Randy Bury, president of the Good Samaritan. "I'm thankful for everyone who gives."
In 2019, donors contributed $4.5 million across 24 states. These gifts were made to support the Society through the Good Samaritan Foundation. 100% of every gift goes directly support the location, project or program that matters most to the donor and its impact remains entirely local, just as donors intend. Gifts supported a wide variety of needs across the Society such as a van in Texas, a butterfly garden in Florida, benevolent care nationwide - and many, many more programs and services.
Donors across the U.S. supported these priorities:
- Mission Support - 42%
- Buildings and Equipment - 31%
- Employees - 14%
- Resident Programs - 7%
- Benevolent Care - 6%
Donors were a part of a nationwide movement to change the face of aging in America. Nearly 13,000 people joined together to make sure that seniors in their hometowns could live every day more fully.
"Thank you for your support — both now and in the years to come. You can be proud of this work we are doing together," says Bobbie Tibbetts, president of the Foundation. "I know I am."
