Home- and Community-Based Services< BACK      

Home and community based services refers to a broad array of services which provide assistance with daily activities that help residents or clients remain in their homes or places of residence.  They are provided to assist these residents in maintaining a greater level of independence and as an alternative to institutionalization.  Home and community based services would offer such services as personal care, chore services, transportation and meals.
