(Arapahoe, Neb.) - The Good Samaritan Society - Prairie Pines hosted a summer tea on June 26. Residents and guests stepped into a day at the beach as they arrived at the event receiving Hawaiian leis and flowers for their hair. Delicious snacks and flavored ice tea were enjoyed while Halle Stephens of Arapahoe performed and sang her original, self-written songs to the group. Door prizes of items to use at the beach were awarded to Eleanora Haussler, Veronica Perez, Mona Monter, Grace Faw, Delbert Siegfried and Charlotte Hill. The event ended with a tour of one of the finished remodeled apartments at Prairie Pines that is ready for when the center converts to an assisted living in the near future.
