FARGO, N.D. – As the holidays get closer, the residents at the Good Samaritan Society - Fargo thought of families who may not have enough food on the table and necessary supplies. They decided to host a donation drive for the Great Plains Food Bank.
"Being able to have these type of food drives that we know that food is going to come in and we're going to be able to get out to those in need at a critical time, we know for so many, is absolutely huge," said Great Plains Food Bank Communications Manager Jared Slinde.
"We have accepted the fact that we need help and we know there's many people out there that need help and a lot of them have families with children that need food," said Irma Lunde, Fargo Good Samaritan Society resident.
